Classroom Guidance, Group Counseling, and Individual counseling are provided throughout the year in grades K-5 by our school counselor, Mrs. Compitello.

Classroom Guidance
Classroom Guidance is offered to all students. Topics included
are developmental in nature such as decision-making and personal
safety. Classroom Guidance is delivered through large group instruction.

Group Counseling
Group Guidance/Counseling is provided for students who might benefit
from participating in a small group with others who have the same need or concern. Group Counseling addresses special concerns in a small group setting.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is provided at the request of school staff,
parents, or students. Students meet with the counselor individually to address a problem the student is having. Difficulties with learning, behavior or home issues may be addressed. School counseling is not therapy, and is not intended to be long term or in- depth. Students who need more in-depth services can receive a resource list from the school counselor.
