Mariners Club

21st Century Learning Grant Program

21st Century

Mariner's Club is a 21st Century program that provides opportunities for students in 2nd - 5th grades to enhance academic learning while participating in different activities. This is a free program for qualifying students. Qualification for this program is dependent upon teacher referral.  This program is by invitation only and spaces are limited. Students attending must have a current registration form on file.

Mariner's Club is Monday - Friday from 3:00 to 5:15. It is important for parents to ensure their child attends every day. Bus transportation will be provided to students who live within the Mirror Lake Elementary school district. Car riders will need to be picked up by 5:15 pm.

Students participate in a variety of cross curricular activities and academic sessions.  Certified as well as classified staff members use a variety of teaching/learning styles to both remediate and accelerate students based on individual needs. Enrichment activities are not limited to but do include: life skills, character education, gardening, and computer lab instruction.
